DOROTHY JEAN BROWN
DOROTHY JEAN BROWN, beloved daughter of the late Neal Brown, Sr and Onie Nock Brown was born in Assawoman, VA on February 3, 1929. She quietly found eternal peace on September 8, 2015 at the Arcadia Nursing facility in Gargatha, VA. She was known as “Aunt Dot” to every one.
Although Dorothy didn’t have children of her own, she willingly cared for and helped raise many of her nieces and nephews. She loved to sing and dance. Her favorite song was “Precious Lord”.
Others left to cherish her precious memories are: niece/guardian, Rosie Brown and a host of other nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends.
Dorothy was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers.
