DOROTHY MAE JUSTICE

Dorothy Mae Justice was born July 5, 1929 to the parents of the late Ethel and Custis Trower in Northampton County Virginia. She was united in Holy matrimony to Daniel Justice, Sr in 1949.

She loved to work in and outside her home and gave her life to Christ at an early age. She served as a pillar of the church, a faithful mother and a member of the choir. During her membership at St. Joseph’s Holiness Church in Atlantic, VA she took part in communion service by baking bread, and drying the saints feet.

Dorothy’s favorite songs which she sang quite often were: “This little light of mine, I’m going to let it shine”, “Without God I can do nothing”; and “Can’t Nobody do me like Jesus”. Her testimony was about God and that He is good. She often told us we have got to love one another whether they love you or not. She thanked God for her children, grandchildren, great grand and great-great grand children. She always let the church and others know that she had six girls and six boys.

Preceding Dorothy in death were her husband, Daniel Justice, Sr; of sixty plus years and son, Lawrence Justice.

Others left to cherish her memories are: Daniel Justice, Jr. (Rosa) of Parksley; VA, Edward L. Justice of Atlantic, VA; Eugene Justice of Hallwood, VA; Shirley Justice of Baltimore, MD; Diane Justice of Salisbury, MD; Jerome Justice of Hallwood, VA; Margaret Vinnie of Tasley, VA; Robert L. Justice of Chesapeake, VA; Gloria A. Justice of Parksley, VA; Louise A. Bright (George) of Daytona Beach, FL; and Mable A.
