CLEO KELLEY, JR.

Cleo Kelley, Jr., the beloved husband of Cheryl entered into eternal rest on December 30, 2019 at Shore Memorial Hospital in Onancock, VA. His nickname was Butchie.

Cleo was born July 26, 1949 and attended the Accomack County School graduating from Mary N. Smith in 1968. Cleo retired from Pocomoke Plywood Company in Pocomoke City, Md and supervised a work crew at NASA for 10 years. He was a barber for at least 50 years. He was a stranger to no one and his advice to others was “Don’t tell it all”.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleo and Rose Kelley and brother Michael Kelley.

He leaves to mourn his wife, Cheryl; sons, Cleo Kelley, III and Jamahl, Sr; daughter, Rajai; grandchildren, Ciara, Jamahl, Jr., Janiya, Janee and Paige; brother, Nelson Kelley, sisters, Diane (Darrel) Hall, Irene (Donald) Peed and Dorothy Kelley; aunts, Marlene Chandler and Mallie Horsley; mother-in-law, Alston Finney; sister-in-law, Renee (Sylvester) Abney; two adopted brothers, Ashby (Jean) Harmon, and Authur (Barbara) Harmon; and adopted son, Deon (Chantel) Smith.
