WYDELLA RILEY, a true and loving servant of God, was born March 10, 1909 to the late Mattie and Levi Rayfield in Accomac County, Virginia. Wydella was the eldest of eleven sisters and brothers.

In 1932, she was married to the late Claude Spenser Riley. Two children were born from this union, Mrs. Elizabeth Roberts and the Reverand Martin Riley, now deceased.

Wydella Riley was a very active member of Tindley Temple for more than sixty years and the oldest living member. She was 104 years old. Her church affiliations were the Hour of Power, Bible Class 2B, Older Adults Group Trainer of Accolytes United Methodist Women, Breakfast for the Children and the Soup Kitchen.

She leaves to mourn: one daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Roberts; one sister, Virginia; grandson, John Claude Roberts; great-granddaughter, Pamela Roberts; great-grandson, Tyler Morton; nieces; nephews; and a host of relatives and friends.
