MABEL WILLIAMS
Mabel Williams, daughter of the late Sadie Gilliam Williams and Dewey Williams, was born July 31, 1943 in Surry County, VA. She departed this life on March 18, 2020 at Brooklyn Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. She graduated from Surry County High School in Surry, VA. Mabel worked at Bankers Trust and HP/EDS for 26 years until her retirement in 2002.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Cassandra, uncle Chris and aunt Bertha Butler.
She leaves to mourn her passing: husband, Billy Williams; two sons, Kenneth Williams, Sr. and Anthony Williams; two daughter-in-laws, Charisse L. Williams and Yolanda Williams; brother, Gavon Williams; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Barbara Sparkman (Raymond) of Gates, NC, Sandra Williams (Jimmie) of Accomac, VA, and Vernice Williams (Johnnie) of Murfreesboro, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
