BARBARA ANN NEDAB MASON
Barbara Ann Nedab Mason, age 78, passed away peacefully on Saturday November 9, 2019 at Shore Health and Rehabilitation Center in Parksley, VA. Barbara was affectionately known as Bobby and was born May 21, 1941, in Brooklyn, NY to the late Mabel and William Green.
After graduating from Sarah J. Hale High School, she went on to work for IBM as a keypunch operator. She eventually relocated to the Eastern Shore of Virginia and made her home in Tasley, VA. She was employed at Perdue Farms in Accomac, Virginia until her retirement and was a member of the New Metompkin Baptist Church in Parksley, VA.
Barbara leaves to cherish her memories: her son: Gregory Nedab (Sharon) of Brooklyn, New York and 2 stepsons: William Upshur of Rockingham, NC and Darrell Upshur of Tacoma, WA; three grandchildren: Taniesha Nedab, Collique Brown and Shaneke Brown; two great-grandchildren: Mahagony Brown and Kaior Brown of Brooklyn, New York; two brothers: William and Donald Green; one sister: Stephanie Kellam and a host of nieces, nephews; two very close friends, Nancy Harmon and Laura Ann Bowden as well as extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Samuel (Sammy) Nedab and William (Buddy) Mason and her youngest sister, Linda Green. Special thanks to Vernon Bell for making sure she got to her Doctors appointments and also to Nancy and Laura Ann for all they did.
