MARGARET BEATRICE PARKER

“Everything that happens in this world happens at the time God chooses. He sets the time for birth and the time for death.” MARGARET BEATRICE PARKER, the daughter of the late Tully William Parker, Jr. and Beatrice Margaret Parker, was called to her eternal home, Thursday, September 8, 2011 at the Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital, at 8:00 p.m. following a short illness. She was born February 3, 1943 in Painter, Virginia. Margaret saw a need for a savior in her life and confessed a belief in Jesus Christ at a young age. She was baptized and fellowshipped with the New Mount Zion Baptist Church in Painter. Margaret was a quiet, kind and religious person who was always ready to lend a helping hand where it was needed. She loved to sing and liked good singing and sang on the Mount Zion Special Choir. Margaret received her education in the public schools of Accomack County and graduated from Mary N. Smith High. She furthered her education at Norfolk State College and graduated. She will be missed. Margaret leaves to cherish a special friend, Forrest Rolley, one sister, Bessie Logan of Baldwin, New York, one brother, William Parker (Frances) of Painter, VA., and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
